1. Who's Invited to the All Gaucho Reunion?
Current UCSB students, alumni, faculty and staff and the general Santa Barbara community are all warmly invited to participate in one or more of the events associated with the All Gaucho Reunion.
2. Will There be Campus Tours?
There will be numerous tours offered throughout the weekend including both general campus tours and special tours of specific buildings.
3.Will Parking be Available?
Complimentary Parking will be provided by your UCSB Alumni Association to all participants on Saturday, April 28th. To pick up your pass, go to the Information Kiosk between 8am and 8pm found in University Plaza.
4. If I’m not an Alum of a Particular Class, College, or Group, Can I Still Go to Their Event?
There are a number of reunions/receptions geared towards alumni of a certain decade/major. While many of the participants will no doubt be alumni, all interested parties are encouraged to attend.
5. Where Can I Stay?
We will be partnering with a number of local hotels to provide great discounts for you this weekend. Check back for more information.
6. Is There a Central Place to Register for Events or Pick Up Information?
Your Mosher Alumni House will be the Welcome Mat for all attendees during the All Gaucho Reunion. Here you can pick up your registration materials (including your all-access pass for the reunion weekend - it doubles as your name badge), grab a coffee, or meet up with other alumni. Information - What You Need to Know
Parking
On Friday, April 27, there is a $5 charge for three hours and an $8 charge for all-day parking. After 5pm Friday, the charge is $3 for unlimited hours. Parking vouchers can be obtained from dispensers located in each parking lot.
To celebrate the All Gaucho Reunion, there will be complimentary parking on campus Saturday, April 28, courtesy of the UC Santa Barbara Alumni Association. Parking attendants will be stationed at the new Parking Kiosk in University Plaza from 8am to 7pm. Recreation Center
The UCSB Recreation Center opened in 1995 with two swimming pools, two gymnasia, two weight rooms, two squash courts, and five racquetball courts. The RecCen Multi Activity Center (MAC) opened in 2005 and includes an additional weight room, multipurpose gym, climbing wall, spa, pottery studio, classroom, and additional locker facilities. There is complimentary access all Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for All Gaucho Reunion attendees. Be sure to remember your All Gaucho Reunion nametag and driver's license.
