Parking On Friday, there is a $5 charge for three hours and an $8 charge for all-day parking. After 5pm Friday, the charge is $3 for unlimited hours. Parking vouchers can be obtained from dispensers located in each parking lot.

To celebrate the All Gaucho Reunion, there will be complimentary parking on campus Saturday, courtesy of the UC Santa Barbara Alumni Association. Parking attendants will be stationed at the new Parking Kiosk in University Plaza from 8am to 7pm. Be sure to stop by to pick up your complimentary parking pass and campus map.

Recreation Center The UCSB Recreation Center opened in 1995 with two swimming pools, two gymnasia, two weight rooms, two squash courts and five racquetball courts. The RecCen Expansion opened in 2005 and includes an additional weight room, multipurpose gym, climbing wall, spa, pottery studio, classroom and additional locker facilities. There is complimentary access all Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for All Gaucho Reunion attendees. Be sure to remember your All Gaucho Reunion nametag and drivers license.

Our reception can recommend an activity that would be suited to your interest and ability. Choose from many beaches along the coast, some ideal for surfing, swimming or just relaxing in the sun.

For art buffs the UCSB Art Museum offers free admission while the highly regarded Santa Barbara Art Museum is free to visitors on Sundays.

A favorite attraction drawing tourists to this beautiful city is the direct service to The Channel Islands. Day trips to the islands may consist of hiking, camping, kayaking, tide pooling and while exploring many plant and animal species unique to the area.

The sport of golf is rapidly becoming more popular as more courses with beautiful surroundings and ocean views have recently been constructed. These top-rated courses include Rancho San Marcos, Glen Annie Golf Club, La Purisima Golf Course, and Sandpiper.
