Alumni Locator Service
Locating a UCSB Graduate
Because of the Right to Privacy Act of 1974
and University policies, the University cannot release the address
and/or phone number of UCSB graduates. The Association can
assist you in locating friends with whom you have lost contact through
the Alumni Locator Service. If we have contact information
on the person with whom you wish to reconnect, the Association
can forward a letter from you to your friend. This service
is free to members
of the UCSB Alumni Association and $5 for non-members (make
check payable to UCSB Alumni Association). To use the service,
please call 805-893-2288 or send an email to ucsbalum@ia.ucsb.edu
with the name and graduation year of the friend you are trying
to contact. Middle names and/or initials are helpful, as are
majors, if known.
If the Association has contact information, you will be asked
to place your correspondence in an unsealed envelope
with your friend’s name and your return address and place
that envelope in another (with your payment of $5, if applicable),
and mail it to:
