About the class gift The mission of the Senior Class Gift campaign is to promote a philanthropic spirit among the graduating class by providing students an opportunity to start their legacy of giving to the University.
This year’s Senior Class Gift will go to the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund (AASF) and the Recreational Sports Legacy Fund.
History of the class gift Each year, graduating seniors have the opportunity to leave behind a lasting legacy of their time spent at UC Santa Barbara. Since the early 1990s, UC Santa Barbara’s graduating class has raised money through the University’s Annual Giving Fund in support of special campus projects or designated areas of need. Past gifts includes funds for the AS FoodBank, renovations to the Recreation Center, as well as various scholarship funds.
