The UC Santa Barbara Alumni Insurance
Program is a convenient
source for health, life and travel insurance for alumni and their family members.
There are a variety of plans available to meet your needs, including GradMed® short-term
health insurance - great for new grads and other alumni seeking temporary coverage.

coverage provided for individuals who must obtain their own
health insurance.
ProtectorMed+® - Catastrophic Major Medical -
Especially for supplementing coverage of PPO/HMO plans. Includes
a high deductible. Coverage up to $1,000,000.
AlumniLTC® - Long Term Care - Comprehensive benefits
for alumni with assets to protect. Up to age 80, alumni and
their parents can apply for AlumniLTC coverage.
SupliMed65+® - Medicare Supplement - Supplemental
Insurance for individuals 65+ who have Medicare health coverage.
AlumniAbroad® - Travel Health Insurance - Provides
temporary health insurance for U.S. residents traveling outside

Alumni Association members receive a $100 discount on any

Club
All Members of the Alumni Association
The UCSB Faculty Club will waive its initial membership fee
for all members of the Alumni Association.
New Life Members of the Alumni Association
In addition to waiving the initial membership fee, the Faculty Club will give
NEW life members a one year free membership to the Faculty Club. A member
is considered NEW if he/she joins the Faculty Club within three months of joining
the Alumni Association
New Annual Members of the Alumni Association
In addition to waiving the initial membership fee, the Faculty Club
will give NEW annual members a three-month membership to the Faculty Club. A
member is considered NEW if he/she joins the Faculty Club within three months
of joining the Alumni Association.
