The UC Santa Barbara Alumni Insurance Program is a convenient source for health, life and travel insurance for alumni and their family members. There are a variety of plans available to meet your needs, including GradMed® short-term health insurance - great for new grads and other alumni seeking temporary coverage.

Health Insurance Plans - All Available Through American Insurance Administrators

GradMed® - Short-Term Major Medical - Affordable coverage for new graduates and alumni between jobs. American Insurance Administrators offers a choice of deductibles and coverage periods from 60-180 days.

AlumniMed® - Renewable Major Medical - Comprehensive coverage provided for individuals who must obtain their own health insurance.

ProtectorMed+® - Catastrophic Major Medical - Especially for supplementing coverage of PPO/HMO plans. Includes a high deductible. Coverage up to $1,000,000.

AlumniLTC® - Long Term Care - Comprehensive benefits for alumni with assets to protect. Up to age 80, alumni and their parents can apply for AlumniLTC coverage.

SupliMed65+® - Medicare Supplement - Supplemental Insurance for individuals 65+ who have Medicare health coverage.

AlumniAbroad® - Travel Health Insurance - Provides temporary health insurance for U.S. residents traveling outside the U.S. and for visitors to the U.S.. Also available - trip cancellation and long-term travel health insurance.
