| Fall Greetings to you from Santa Barbara! The months have experienced a flurry of activity in with Gaucho Getaways and it’s been a delight to connect with many of you over the phone to discuss your upcoming travel plans for 2012. |
| John Steinbeck wrote “A journey is like marriage. The certain way to be wrong is to think you control it.” The same is true with travel. While we can never anticipate volcanic eruptions, mudslides, tsunamis and political evolution, I extend, to those who were impacted, my appreciation for your patience while your travel was either delayed, diverted or postponed. Gaucho Getaways is returning to Egypt, Cuba, and the Galapagos. We will return to Japan, and who knows what the future yet holds for the return of US citizens to once again visit the amazing antiquities in Libya. Tenacity is a special quality you as travelers hold, in addition to your love of adventure, exploration and life-enrichment. It continues to be a great pleasure to get to know as many of you as possible. |
