Help Recruit Top Applicants!

Come meet Chancellor Henry Yang at the annual Chancellor’s receptions for students who have applied to UC Santa Barbara. The receptions will be held throughout California and the United States during March. This is a wonderful opportunity for alumni to share their experiences with parents and prospective students. There will be an alumni reception preceding each event where alumni will have a chance to network with their alumni neighbors and receive a campus update.

Locations include Seattle, San Jose, Denver*, Irvine, Los Angeles, Chicago*, Washington D.C, New York (*The Chancellor' will not be in attendance).

UCSB Reads Online Author Interview & Chat with Timothy Egan

The UCSB Library is hosting an online interview and chat with the author of the UCSB Reads 2014 book, “The Big Burn: Teddy Roosevelt and the Fire That Saved America.” For our parents, alumni, and friends who cannot travel to campus to participate in UCSB Reads, please join us online on March 5 at 12pm to hear Pulitzer-Prize winning author Timothy Egan interviewed by UCSB History Professor John Majewski. Following the interview, Egan will be open to questions from the audience which you can pose directly from your computer.*

*To indicate your intent to watch as well as to ask questions during the live broadcast, you must be signed into a Google account. You can create a Google account for free if you do not have one. (Note: If you have a Gmail account, you already have a Google account.)
