| Recently Newsweek/Kaplan's publication, "How to get into College Guide," identified
UCSB as one of the 12 "hottest" colleges in the U.S. and the US News
and World Report's popular guide, "America's Best Colleges," has named
UCSB as the 12th best public university in the nation. Each year over 38,000
guests visit the UCSB campus. With its picturesque location overlooking the Pacific
Ocean and outstanding academic reputation, UCSB is a popular college choice for
students. The Visitor Center provides admissions presentations, campus tours,
and transfer advising sessions. A good place to start your campus exploration
is a walking tour organized by the Visitor Center. For groups under ten people,
reservations are not required for the scheduled campus walking tours. |
