Explore this vast country where Europe and Asia-past and present-meet to form the "cradle of civilization. Visit remote villages, explore fascinating archeological sites, and cruise the magnificent Turquoise Coast in a privately chartered yacht. Our odyssey begins in Istanbul with its many treasures: the legendary Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the 6th-century Saint Sofia, and the acclaimed Islamic Art Museum. Then travel south to explore the World War I battlefield of Gallipoli, the fabled ruins of ancient Troy, the Greco-Roman ruins at Pergamum, and spectacular Ephesus, the world's best-preserved classical city. In Marmaris we'll board our traditional private gulets, equipped with individual cabins and baths, to cruise the magnificent Turkish coastline. Visit tiny fishing villages, walk among ancient ruins, and swim and snorkel in the Mediterranean's brilliant blue waters. Conclude with two nights in the seaside resort of Antalya. For those desiring, a post-trip extension is available to Cappadocia and Ankara.
