Stop by Mosher Alumni House for a moment of personal reflection and remembrance. Images taken during the events of 1970 on campus and in Isla Vista will be available for viewing. Complimentary tea and coffee available.

TGIF (Open to All 50+ Year Graduates)

Graduating classes of 1970 and earlier are invited to attend the TGIF reception. Come dance and reunite with former classmates. This event is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with old friends and met some new faces. Ticket price includes heavy appetizers.  *Purchase the combination ticket, which grants access to this event as well as the 50th luncheon event, in order to receive a $5 discount*

50th Reunion Campus Tour

9:30 a.m.
Tours begin and end at the Club and Guest House
Free. Please RSVP

Join a campus walking tour led by a current student in the Gaucho Tour Association. They will guide you from the Club & Guest House parking lot to past buildings old and new and finish at the Club just in time for the 50th Reunion luncheon. Tours will be approximately an hour and a half.  If you are unable to walk the duration of the tour and would still like to participate, please email Michaela Nash at programs@alumni.ucsb.edu. Alternative arrangements may be possible dependent upon need.

Campus Politics: How They Changed Us and How We are Still the Same

On the Record: A look Back at How the Media Handled the Demonstrations and Campus Politics

A fireside chat with the reporters on the ground in Isla Vista as the riots took hold and the National Guard and LAPD took charge featuring a discussion of the political events and happenings of that time.

Tribute Reception: The Kevin Moran Scholarship Fund

$15 (all proceeds will support the Kevin Moran scholarship fund)

Since Kevin's passing in 1970, each year two or more scholarships have been awarded to students from Political Science or Economics majors from the Kevin Moran scholarship Fund. Join us for an evening reception to honor and celebrate the life of Kevin Moran as well as his legacy of supporting UCSB students.
This event is open to all but we encourage participation from past scholarship recipients and alumni from the classes of 1970-1974.
