All You Need to Know

Who is invited to the All Gaucho Reunion? 

All alumni, current students, staff, family, friends and community members are invited to attend the All Gaucho Reunion! 

Is the All Gaucho Reunion family friendly? 
Absolutely! The All Gaucho Reunion has something for everyone, even the Class of 2040. Consider attending the Kids Fest on Saturday from 10:00am-12:00pm, behind the UCSB Library. 

How do I register?
Not all events require pre-registration. Check on the individual event page to see if registration is required or if tickets are sold separately from a third party. To see the schedule of events and register for All Gaucho Reunion events.

If I am not an alum of a particular class, college, or group, can I still go to their event?
There are a number of reunions and receptions geared towards alumni of a certain class year or major. While many of the participants will no doubt be alumni, all interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Where can I stay?
We will be partnering with a number of local hotels to provide great discounts for you this
weekend. Find out about our sponsoring hotels.

Is there a central place to register for events or pick up information?
Your Mosher Alumni House will be for all attendees during the All Gaucho Reunion. Here you can pick up your Gaucho Gallop packet, campus maps, grab a coffee, or meet up with other alumni. Map to Mosher Alumni House. 

Will the UCSB Bookstore be open? 
The UCSB Campus Store (i.e. the Bookstore) will be open extended hours for the All Gaucho Reunion.
Friday, April 24th: 8:00am - 5:30pm
Saturday, April 25th: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Regularly scheduled campus tours are available through the admissions office.
Spring 2020 visits will be available for registration after January 2, 2020.

Special Class of 1970 50th Anniversary Tour

Parking and Getting Around

Valid UCSB Parking Passes must be displayed on your vehicle at all times. Maps and more information on parking on the UC Santa Barbara campus.

Friday, April 24th
There will be special all-day parking passes available for $5 (normally $8). To receive your special discount, select "AGR" on the permit dispensers (located in parking lots #10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 22). 

Saturday, April 25th
UC Santa Barbara Alumni is providing parking permits for All Gaucho Reunion attendees. You must pick up a valid UCSB Parking Pass from attendants stationed at the Parking Kiosk in University Plaza or the Lot 10 structure. You may then park your car at the visitor lots around campus. 

For the Class of 1970 50th Reunion Luncheon, there will be an attendant with Parking Passes at Lot 23 located adjacent to the Club & Guest House. 

Sunday, April 26th
There will be all-day parking passes available for $5.00. You must purchase a permit from the dispensers and place it on your dashboard. 

Get Involved


Gauchos give back by volunteering at numerous times throughout the weekend.

Key areas we could use your help include the Gaucho Gallop and Gaucho Festival set up, operations, and breakdown. 

What is the commitment?
We ask volunteers to attend a one-hour volunteer training session and commit to at least one four-hour shift. If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled training sessions, but would still like to help, please email
