Rally with the Regents on May 17
The University of California Board of Regents will rally on the steps of the state Capitol on May 17 alongside students, faculty, staff, alumni and other UC supporters.
The regents will meet in Sacramento May 16 and 17. Chair Sherry Lansing said the rally at the state Capitol is intended to spotlight the adverse effects that cuts in state funding have had on the university and to build public support for re-investment in higher education.
